Less than two months after being released by the Cowboys, place kicker Billy Cundiff has been signed by the Bucs. The Bucs kicker from last season, Matt Bryant, is still on the roster, but he is a free agent and could leave Tampa to sign with another team. Cundiff was brought into Dallas 11 games into the season to replace punching bag Jose Cortez. Cundiff was then released before the last game of the season.
Cundiff's field goal %: 62.5% (2005), 73.2% (career)
Bryant's field goal %: 84.0% (2005), 81.3% (career)
I could see (assuming Bryant leaves) the Bucs signing Todd France, and pitting France against Cundiff in training camp.

yep, there is a reason Cundiff was not signed at the beginning of last season, and then released before the last game. I actually like Todd France, who was on and off the Buc's roster last season, over Cundiff.
and welcome to the blogosphere single dad.
